First Firearms II - Page 2

Ordered some new glass last week and if Im lucky it will arrive wednesday before we have a day at the range.

Anyone who reloads ever try drilling out the primer pocket flash hole on the military brass that has the two offset flash holes? I'm burning through a bunch of 7.62 from south Africa to break in an AR10 and they have the berdan primers. Maybe it only has a single?

I looked this up once and remember reading it is possible.

I'm keeping it. The price on these has really tanked around here. Palmetto State Armory has them for $240. I'll just keep it for that. Maybe find a holster to put it on the bike for long rides to shoot at loose dogs.

What is the deal going on for .223 right now? I found it for .36 or so a shot. Anyone got some places to buy ammo from other than Midway or Cheaperthandirt?

Try surplus ammo arms. Get on their mailing list and about once a month they have a 24 hour sale on .223 that is close to or maybe better than .36 a shot

Dont you know by now they will label it whatever they can in an effort to create a false shortage for us the sport/recreational consumer.

Lookin' good.

I just got a red dot and magnifier on my AR15. Nothing wild. I went somewhat cheap with the set up since I do not use it.... maybe 5 times a year. I need to get out there more but I can't find anyone to split some ammo with to make it cheaper to buy.
