Not Pepin, but try El Rico Habano.

The old henry maduro was the one that jumped into my head first. They're cheap too.

See, that's the problem with suggestion threads. Everyone's got their own favorite and you end up with a hundred different recommendations. Nobody's mentioned Tatuaje yet, even tough they're technically pepins too. You said you like 'em strong and spicy and if that's the case, you can't beat the La Riqueza in my opinion. Even though they're a bit strong for my preference, I can't overlook the fact that they taste fantastic... which is why I keep buying them.

Have you noticed any difference in the La Riqueza since the switch from dress boxes to cabs?

Folks,

He did say "somewhat affordable." Are JJ's, La Riq's, My Fathers and San Cristies really considered somewhat affordable?

Benchmade or Tabocco Baez SF. Both extremely affordable and both a great Pepin taste.

I would stick with the 601 Greens. They are spicy (peppery) and pretty strong. The Cuban Classics are a good medium smooth smoke IMO. I love both for a change of pace.

Wow, everyone seems to be all over the other blends, but the KING of Pepin's blends currently imho is the My Father Le Bijou Petit Robusto

Certainly not the cheapest, though.

$4.50 a stick is not too bad for the Petit Robustos.

Yea, that's not too bad. That's still a short cigar though. I paid something around $12 for the churchill. Haven't smoked that one yet. lol. The first le bijou I had was a petit robusto. I enjoyed it.

I'm not sure which ones I had since they were singles from a local B&M, but I've heard others say they're aren't as good now as they were when they first came out.

The My Father Robusto and Lance are great.
The San Cristobal is great also. Very rich. Try to get hold of the S.C. Lancero

Sorry, overlooked this part.
I agree w/ BFallehy on the CI Yellow and the Cigar.com Corojo Label.

I Didnt dig the Tat P very much.

The Benchmade is a decent, affordable smoke.

Try the "6 Pack to Go" on Holts.com of the Casa Royal too. Pretty nice.
