Matt Harvey gets the nod to start the All Star Game.

Kudos to Bochy for this. Even though we know it's a make up from last year when Dickey should have started the game and he started his own guy, Cain, because Posey didn't want to be embarrased.

That was pretty cool. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't recognize most of the players without a hat and jersey on.

Great All Star game last night. Harvey looked good (after he gave up the double and plunked Cano). Didn't realize he was gonna pitch two innings. Wright was 1-3. AL pitching really shut the NL down last night.

I was proud to be a Mets fan last night. Our two boys did a great job and Citi Field did an awesome job making all the players feel and look like stars.

Bullpen blows a gem by Gee. Braves score 2 in the top of the 9th on Parnell and we lose 2-1. It's really beginning to be painful being a Mets fan.

Gee pitched a really nice game. Couldn't have asked for anything better from him. Parnell blew this one. Looks like we need relievers and a closer.

In other news, if that last ball got past the center fielder, we would have won that game.

Mets beat the Braves 4-1. Torres gives up a HR to the first batter of the game and shuts down the Braves the rest of the way. And the bullpen cooperates this evening.
