I guess what I was trying to say is that you may get banned but he won't delete your user name and posts.

It was my understanding that was our friends intention... either banishment or deletion

that would be the crux of the biscuit behind this post.
http://www.puff.com/forums/vb/questi...lubhouses.html

My text for those that do not want to travel:
"When the clubhouses go active, will there be any kind of admission fee for any part of each clubhouse or any perks, other than the "JonSupporter" current icons? I guess I am wondering if the highly intrusive ad revenue plastered over all the pages would offset any need for revenue generated from members."

It has yet to be responded to by Jon, and it will be bumped to the first page until my question is answered.

I do agree with your sentiments of where they end up comment the only problem is Live started to get a lot of guys there just looking to get bombed and not really participate in anything other that bombs and passes and PIF's even one of the mods only spent his time in those sections only. When he had GAR going he was gonna start spamming people to just get members there, looking back I feel he was gonna do this as practice to see how it worked to eventually use it somewhere else. And yes if you spam 1000 people and get 3 good guys thats cool but not when you get 75 moochers too.

Hey, that's not sad. Thompson's really does have a good deal, now and then. But who ever looks?

not that it really matters that much or that it's... but in my recollection it seems questions about Thompsons from new members popped up every few months or so.

There does seem to be an influx of members new to cigars, so I imagine the same old questions are going to be asked.

And that is the good thing about what is going on there. Promotion attracts attention leading to new members there and ultimately into the broader cigar community as a whole. Think baseball.

You just paraphrased my previous post. I don't have a copywrite on it but would appreciate a mention on your works sited page if you ever write memoirs.

Interesting, it looks like the Google Adsense has been removed from puff.com - I am not a huge fan of contextual search ads (but it is a way to make money when you do not have banner ads). I am kind of glad the ads for cheese are now gone. I didn't look all over, but I didn't see them.

Hey Dave (Trishield) thanks for the edit!
