Help me figure out this unknown tobacco?

I received this in the Secret Pipe Santa last Christmas, and it's gone unsmoked; I hate to smoke it without knowing what it is. The following are a few attributes; this is not a game of any kind, and the only thing you're going to win is my thanks lol

• It's a few small strips of tobacco.
  
• On the tip of my tongue it tastes sweet with maybe a little saltiness; both flavors are about even.
  
• It smells like tobacco with maybe a hint of farm or animal scent to it.
  
• It's maybe a little lighter than Penzance.
  
• My Santa also sent me a Jobon pipe lighter and some tobacco from pipesandcigars.com - not all tobaccos, only a few were.
