Default Re: CA Magazine page 110...someone ought to be sho

gee, I don't know, let's see how petty this thread REALLY is....

CA page 161. Of coures, no comments made about that (shocking)

JR Cigars - Thank you NCRadioMan and weak link for remembering that. Kudos to S15driftking for remembering the website photos.

Famous Smoke Shop (LK Holiday2009) - oh, pick a page...67, 69, 70

Cigar.Com (October 2009) - the ENTIRE catalog

Cigars International (Nov 2009) - throughout the catalog

Cigar Magazine (Winter 2009) - pg 2 (oh wait, same ad!), pg 70, 86, 102

And for the "Nub" comparisons??

Guess you haven't been paying much attention, considering Felipe Gregorio was marketing the "Fat Boy" (3 1/2 x 55) since, oh, 2002...(technically 2000, according to the article quoted below) -

Quote:
The cigars -- which look as if someone sliced a robusto in half -- were conceived by owner Philip Wynne and vice president of national sales Michael "Micky" Pegg two years ago at the Retail Tobacco Dealers Association annual trade show in San Antonio. The pudgy smoke was originally intended solely as a sales vehicle, so that cigar store owners could sample Felipe Gregorio's various blends of tobacco without taking an hour to smoke each cigar. But the oddball smokes were an unintentional hit. "Everyone complimented the size and the flavor," said Wynne, and what started out as merely a sampler size expanded into an entire line.
Funny thing....they still make that same cigar to this day....
