I liked them when they were originally released, but I've tried them recently and thought they sucked.

I am a big fan of the #1 and #5. Like D said though, I think the initial release was a bit better but I still like 'em.

When we first got them in the shop in the dress boxes they were great. I know between James and myself we smoked most of them.
I haven't had one since, makes me sad to hear.

Every Riqueza I've had was great. I bought a #1 this morning and it probably won't be around anymore after this weekend. damn good in my opinion. one of my favorite Tats, second only to the brown label.

Like these a lot. Picked up a box of the #2's when they first came out. Cocoa, Coffee -- that's what I get, too.
Haven't bought any since, but have noticed that the color of the wrappers is really inconsistent in the B&M I visit most often. Maybe they have changed things up since the initial release. |

I'm nuts for the place

I have found that these usually need to sit a few weeks before smoking. I have smoked them right from the B&M a couple times and thought they were just mehh. Overall they are a good stick but I will take a red any day of the week over the Riquezas.

I Liked Them Enough That I Bought A Box, Which I Almost Never do! Nice Spice, But Stays Smooth & Rich, Good Even Burn & Draw: But That Box Came From 6 Months ago.
I Believe I Have The CE- Around 45 Minute smoke for me.

I started off smoking the #2's, but then the Petit Robustos came out which are my favorite by far. These things are packed with sweet spicy flavor. I do agree that they smoke and taste better if I let them sit for a few weeks after buying at the B&M.

only had original releases, and they were all spot on, smooth with subtle hints of black cherry. if there is a difference between those and the current production ones i wouldnt know, dont have any places by me that sell them and dont feel like buying a few online, but they certainly left a lasting impression on me
