I've just been playing mercenary death match. I'll play just about anything though. I used to enjoy hardcore on one of the COD's but haven't tried it on MW2. I'll add you later on tonight probably.

I think it looks like we can go ahead with the INM8 clan tag for whoever wants to use it.

the team stuff sucks for me to play because I am color blind, to an extent, and the fractions of a second it takes to IFF makes me SUCK. it would be nice to have a black/white patch for ID.

I haven't played hardcore on MW2 yet. I wouldn't mind though. The only problem I find with it is all of the creeping around. That one guy camping tends to ruin it for me sometimes. If everyone camped then no one could get shot.

I am a 'camper', but then again I am usually near the top of the board. In my opinion, the game is more fun when you aren't dying. Its a strategy game, similar to real war, the object is to not get shot. So running around and getting shot in the face is easy. If you want me to go 20 Kills and 25 deaths everytime I can do that, no problem.

I here ya and I realize this. Like I said though, if no one moves then no one wins. Real wars can last weeks or even years. A COD match is only up to like 20 minutes.

Camping sucks, but it's been part of COD for as long as I can remember. I remember complaining about it when I played the first COD on my pc way back when. Personally I don't like it, as you say it makes games boring when everyone is just sitting around waiting for someone on the other team to lose patience. Thankfully though, MW2 gave us a new re tardily stupid weapon for us camper haters. The riot shield is an absolute blast when playing hard core mode. As long as the lag isn't too bad, that one bash kill can be quite fun. I've gotten my fair share of hate mail on live for using it

Good to know. I've loved the riot shield just for sh1ts and giggles! It may come in handy in HC now.

You can get 25 kills without camping and little deaths no problem =D

My friends and I have no problem with people who run around, its usually having to make up for the extra 2 or 3 people who end up with 2/12 or something similar that is a problem. Played last night with two buddies and we were always on the top 5, problem is the other three random players were always the bottom 3. For Example: One game we all were 12+ kills and 7 or less deaths and we lost because the bottom three were 2-22, 3-14, 4-12. Makes it tough to win when your team has half who run around and get shot in the face.

It's nice to see i'm not the only riot shielder here. Most people don't play it right, with a little practice and the right mix of perks/gear you can really tear things up with it. Unless there is lag, then your boned

Its fun to watch people get their heads popped off while they look for you. I don't think running around just to get shot in the face is fun. Its fun to hear people complain after they lose about campers, if they win, they never complain. Odd. I like winning by 30 kills, thats fun. We were pitching a shut out one day on Terminal to 4000 points until we got a 6th added, we only won 7000 to 1600 though. Now noob tubing, thats fun.
