The good news is today I found what I think is a small stash of pre-Orlik Dunhill tins and a local shop. The bad news is I live in Ontario and have to pay full retail, so I only grabbed one. It says its made in UK, has "with association with" on the rim and "e" symbol, So I'm assuming this is post-95 Murray made for European market. Can anyone confirm?

I was hoping for some London Mixture as mine has all but run out, but unfortunately they had none at all.

I think you answered your own question. The Made in UK stamping is the proof.

Nice find......too bad it's so expensive now. That being said, we all may say this is a great price 5 or 10 years down the road! |

Unfortunately, Murray and Orlic tins look exactly the same (top & bottom). Is there any label on the back?

The only way to tell in the USA is by the label on the back. The Murray Tins have a different import/distributor label than the Orlick tins.

Nothing at all on the back. I had an Orlik tin of London Mixture with a back sticker, but nothing on this one. I imagine the Canadian distributor would have different procedures than the U.S. one, but who knows.

I was always told that the Murray's tins were painted (like the one in the pic) and the Orlic tins have a sticker on the lid that did not cover the edges like the painted tins.
