I saw the Gypsy Kings at the Greek in L.A. They are great live and a great time was had by all. One of my favorite parts about this venue is having a picnic before the concert. We had some great food and wine, then capped it off with a nice cigar!!

The last concet I attended was quite a concert. I made it down to Austin for the "Austin City Limits Music Festival" for the 4th year in row. So, three days of music, cigars, libations and scantily clad beautiful babies.
Some high lights: 1. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss 2. Beck 3. Robert Earl Keen 4. Iron & Wine 5. Band of Horses 6. Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings 7. Okkervil River 8. Foo Fighters 9. Drive-By Truckers 10. M. Ward 11. John Fogerty I could go on and on, the line up never disappoints. The only problem was a few schedule conflicts, but over all a great, great time as usual. If you've never made it to this festival I suggest you try to next year. God, I love MUSIC!! |

Just saw Metallica at the Pepsi center. They put on one hell of a show. I would go see it again if they came back to Denver.

been to Living Colour again tonight, great show again and they added Tracey Chapman's talking about a revolution to the setlist. Just Vernon on guitar and Corey singing. Highlight of the show, so delicate, so beautifully sung.

Don't go to many anymore- most of my money goes to airshows- but I went to Newsong Music Festival with people such as Skillet, Sanctus Real, Fireflight, Toby Mac, The Afters, and Jeremy Camp.

Last one I went to was Rage Against the Machine at the Target Center when the RNC was in town. AWESOME show! Crowd was totally pumped and into it. The energy unbelievable! I was still bobbing my head to what I remembered hearing a few days later still.
![]() As the RNC was going on in town, the security outside the arena was beefed up, and there was a huge contingent of cops in riot gear waiting. There was an obvious attempt at intimidation of the concert-goers. But, there was no violent incidents. There were just people arrested for blocking the street and not wanting to move. |
