Manny being Manny, suspended 50 games for PEDs

If baseball didn't have this kind of thing to talk about what would they talk about?

- 4hr pitching duels
- The first base stare down
- Long fly balls
- Foul balls
- The grounder
- Shading him slightly left
- The pitch selection
- Wild pitch
- Infield pop up
- Meetings at the mound

I'm really trying to understand the excitement of this game.

Please help.

I despise Manny for dogging his way out of Boston but it seems here that his problem was not taking the list of proscribed drugs to his doctor and not running the prescription he was given by MLB. This would have generated a therapeutic use exemption which would have prevented this situation. Hope that other players learn from what happened to Manny. And Smitty, you have a monster sack calling anyone from Boston a cheater after the Yankees' history.

I looked at it as having a different opinion like with cigars. Some like a certain Marca or what have you and some don't. People are allowed to voice their opinion either way.

The jokes about the boring aspects of the game? What sport doesn't have certain elements about it that are mundane? How about focusing on the fun aspects of the game. Home runs are exciting. Stolen bases are exciting. Strike outs are exciting. Clutch hitting is exciting. Clutch pitching is exciting. The rivalries are exciting. I could go on and on and on, but I think that answers your question.
