February 25th 1901 J.P. Morgan formed U.S. Steel Corporation, the first billion-dollar corporation in the world.  Birthdays 58 George Harrison 2/25/1943 - 11/29/2001 English rock guitarist, singer-songwriter and film producer. He achieved international fame as lead guitarist in The Beatles.
