To me it's weird to see a well made Danish pipe have the crap beaten out of it by the previous owner. Seems he enjoyed beating the rim on hard objects to empty the bowl- heck of a job to sand back to smooth briar.
Seems happier now, although still a bit charred. Poor thing....
