Esoterica Dorchester in my Gresham. More full bodied and straight tobacco flavor than other blends I've had so far.

Hobbits Weed out of my MM country gentleman while completing health insurance reimbursement paperwork. Blessed to have this blend so readily available.

I've been thinking about trying this stuff out. Wasn't sure if it would be as good as the hype I've read. Might have to order it now.

McClelland Christmas Cheer from '13. I have to say it have been the best pipe tobacco I've tried so far. If anyone has any they'd be willing to sell I would gladly buy it from them.

Just opened a tin of Frog Mortons Cellar. Had a bowl of it in my Weber Blackthorne. This might be my new favorite tobacco. Nice whiskey flavor with a subtle Latakia flavor in the mix. I really enjoyed it.

Critiquing Perique

A little Owl's Head from 4noggins in an Eaton cob this morning. Very nice Lat mix, I should restock and put some away for down the road.
I went back to try Star of the East again last night. At first I found it a bit abrasive, tasty but very rough around the edges. With a little age on it (6-9 months) I'm finding it a little rounder, less harsh. With the difference found in a few months aging, I'm thinking this is another to buy and just put away for a couple years. The orientals pop now whereas they weren't as prominent when fresh. |
