Have you made a Pina Colada in the Vitamix? Anyone thinking $500 for a blender is crazy; it's not. Worth every penny and then some. I use it every day.

I was one of those that thought it was nuts. Wife was after one for a very long time and I couldn't phantom that expense. Finally gave in and frankly, no regrets, even if $649 for our version. My Margaritaville is merely a "chunk" ice crusher compared to the fine smoothness of a Vitamix. Not to mention cooking in it but I did say not to mention it.
