I used to use fancier soaps (Meguiars, Mothers, etc.) but my dealer told me that they recommend a mild dish soap over these others, because they are milder -- which is better for the finish.

If you find something that repells brake dust please let me know! My brake pads are very dusty and it is a real PIA to keep my wheels clean...

My step dad used to use a Car Shami, which had to be wet in order to dry it. I did like that when I used it.
