And this helps the Mets how? Doesn't address any pitching woes (rotation or bullpen) and gives away our most productive bat. This helps the Pirates as they've been looking for a run producing right fielder. Alderson was asleep at the wheel on this one. Another BONEHEAD MOVE made my Mets executives.

The player to be named later better be pitching help...and a good one!!!

I know Byrd and Buck weren't long term Mets...but COME ON MAN...get something in return for them.

No wonder we suck!!!

Great move by the Pirates, as they make a serious push towards the playoffs. I'm rooting for them.
