I've gotten emails from them up to last month, but these were for events at their store/lounge. Perhaps they have concentrated on their lounge as opposed to Taboo brand cigars?

Interesting! I remember they were all over the old site toward the end there. They always had great sales going on and the Taboo brand cigars were a pretty solid bang for your buck.

Hi Marianne! We miss you! Hope all is well.

FB page shows recent events. Probably a phone call would be best.

Hello Marianne,

Their web site appears to be no more, but,

it does forward you over to their FaceBook page. I wouldn't know what is on it as I do not belong.

I've sent a number of emails via their old web page and regular email to Rob, regarding if they have plans to eventually bring back the SFO line, but have not had any response from him.

Some of the promotional emails I receive indicate they do receive shipments of the Taboo Twist and HSG in a couple of sizes, and usually, Rob takes pre-orders on these and ships on arrival.

Since they've completed their bar/lounge area, he's been heavily promoting this, but of course, none of us are "locals," and its a heck of a drive from Valencia, CA

As Peter mentioned, best thing to do would be to give them a call if you were interested in the Twist or HSG.

Sure do wish they would bring back the SFO line. I believe one of the issues was QC.

Good to hear from you girl!

He's been out of Twists longer than I've been checking to re-order some. I miss them.

Rob is still around, but I am not sure for how much longer. I've never been to the shop, even though they are only 5 miles from me. Several of my friends do frequent the Taboo lounge though. From what I heard, the owner has change policies and banned people from taking their own cigars into the store, unless they were bought there. I also understand he was out of many of the regular line of cigars he would normally carry. As for Twist, I may still have a handful. If so, I'll post them for anyone to grab.

Had one last night. I think it was part of a bomb or trade from someone on this site. It was amazing.

The only Taboos I ever had were gifts - 4 of them. My $0.02 - they were all hard as tent pegs and the draw was bad on all of them. I chucked them all before the first third. Have never looked back YMMV.

Taboo were my first real contact with the cigar world, I would be REALLY sad if they would go out of business.

The Taboo Exotic Blend Maduros and the Special Forces Boot Camp and SFC Originals were great sticks. The Twist was a nice mild, creamy stick. These are all hard as hell to find nowadays.

I heard good thing about the Special Forces.

Had several of the other lines, including a couple/few of the Twists. Was not a big fan of the Twists.
