Anyone here make their own sweet tea?
I remembered that I had some tea bags up in the cupboard and I just googled a simple recipe online and made some sweet tea. I just used regular lipton tea and some sugar. It's in the fridge now and just waiting for it to get colder. I tried a little bit of it and it tasted alright. See how well it turns out when it's completely cold. I just used this recipe. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/smooth-...ea/detail.aspx |

I have been making tea since I was able to walk. That's no joke. We always had and still have a pitcher of sweet tea in my fridge. I don't know if it's a recipe per se, but it's how my mom made it and showed me:

I was making my own sweetened honey tea for a while, but the mint plants were growing out of control so I removed them all about a month ago!

I hear that! The recipe is pretty much any tea, water and a $hitton of sugar. I cannot stress enough..... Ive made it a few times and the amount of sugar is shocking. I personally like half unsweetened and half sweet.
