Thanks for starting this thread. I'm not a coffee newbie as I drink it everyday however I am a newbie to blends/brands that aren't commercial like Folgers, Maxwell house, or the local Wawa, Starbbucks, or the Keurig machine at works which uses Gloria Jean beans or something like that.

I've never lurked on the coffee forum before but was always intrigued, now that you all provided those links I think it's time to dive in and try something!
