I just took the xikar fan / Asia thing as a dig at items manufactured abroad (or at least in Asia), which I don't think is necessarily true and will unnecessarily limit the number of cigar accessories from which one (including someone else who might be reading this thread without the experience of using these various cutters) has to choose--and that's just sad, because we all need as many cigar toys as humanly possible ![]() Quote:

Or maybe another knifemaker would do something like this. Especially if they were to engrave CA into it I wonder how many people here would purchase one? |

Who are you looking to sell the cutters to, just out of curiosity?

Patrick, do they produce the cutlery, or are they just a vendor?

just a vendor however as it does contain a list of several american producers you could use it as a jumping off point. And since the names are there you can figure out the companies and there contact information with a little work.
ok I'll do it for him Bear & Son http://www.bearandsoncutlery.com/ Buck http://www.buckknives.com/ Slip-N-Snip http://www.slipnsnip.com/ there three american scissor producers and there websites all compiled from a lead from a cutlery vendors website |

Because a scissor is made outside of the US does not automatically make it a lousy product. Some of the best scissors (including cigar scissors) made in the world come from Sheffield, England or Solingen, Germany.
![]() I doubt that these would be cheap enough to import/export. A search for cigar scissors on Alibaba.com yields hundreds of manufacturers. Mostly from Asia, but individual countries, including the US, can be searched.
