I'd spend ~ $300 if I was getting a nice set. The bummer deal for me though is the sets that are hand wash only. Seriously, what is it about a dishwasher that is bad for washing pots/pans that heats to several hundred degrees on your stove?

I'm also more partial to Sams Club as I'm not a Costco member if it makes any difference.
