The ol' 870 is a very good & accurate gun and has stopped many a deer in their tracks. The Marlin is also a great gun and is just the right fit as I seldom have a shot over 150 yards when hunting up north.

You can hunt deer with a shotgun? what type of shell do you use? do you need a scope on the shotgun?
