I saw some fish hitting on the surface, but it would be difficult to fish from the bank. I have thought about packing (portaging) a canoe in, but it would be about 5 miles one way. The thought of a blow-up raft also crossed my mind until I started counting the number of large gators (another good indicator of nice fish) hanging around.
