| Managing the UnManageable | Rocky Patel Sun Grown Robusto. nice, powerful smok

I reached in tonight and pulled out a dark brown gem ROCKY PATEL SUN GROWN ROBUSTO 6 1/2 X 50 Wonderous dark brown wrapper. Smooth and powerful. Pre lit draw had TOBACCO hitting all my senses. My tongue, also, tasted TOBACCO. Draw is everything I want it to be. Strong ash. I'm not sure of the color because I was in the dark, outside. Wonderful , POWERFUL, tobacco taste. Very one dimensional BUT I really liked the taste that was present throughout my smoke. ONE THING, tho! The smoke was lacking....YES! Lacking.... All I could think about was how well this would be paired up with a PROPER CUP OF COFFEE. I tried to sense the taste that would COMPLETE this smoke....I KNOW it's coffee. BUT I don't have a clue as to what type/kind. I just know it needs to be a small yet potent cup with a BLAST of taste. Through this thought process; I became aware that I don't know, nor have I ever had, a real cup of coffee. I'll be posting my need for educating me on this loss in my life...and reading Mr Moo's various treatises on coffee. Here is what I call my coffee center. I usually/always drink hazelnut flavored coffee with sugar and HAZELNUT cream from a quick stop store (WAWA). The coffee bag is what I had in the freezer. The container is holding HAZELNUT coffee. Back to the cigar: I rate this cigar very highly in all aspects. I have to have THAT CUP of coffee to make this stick sing to me. |

I wish I had decaf right now as your right! I find the burn is amazing as is draw, but i feel it lacks in taste. Perhaps this is my newbie buds, but I dont seem to find much complexity in the taste. Through the nose is just too strong for me.
