Would you rather I just be a "bag", Peter?

I joined the Asylum for two reasons.
1. For a frontal lobotomy. 2. To keep in touch with some of the best people in this world. I've made many friends and look forward to meeting many more. |

I joined after hearing about it on the stogie review, I used to belong to 3 other forum sites, 2 of them got incorporated into pvff.com and the other I don't use as much after having a bad trade, just left a bad taste for me so I pretty much walked away.
Hoping this is my new home away from home. Last edited by Da Klugs; 03-31-2009 at 06:00 AM. |

Being a cigar noob, I was looking for info on humidors and asked a question on another site and was berated for my lack of knowledge on cigars. I did a search and a link to here came up so I checked it out found what I wanted to know in a post and you all seemed like a nice bunch to hang around with while I travel into the wonderful world of cigars.
The only bad thing I can say is here is where I found out about cbid and in one week I filled my new 100 Ct and was banned from going there by the wife. Thanks for being a great non judgemental group of crazies...... |

I just joined here yesterday. I have bought cigars from CI and CBID for close to a year now, and I have observed their forums, but I didn't feel comfortable posting there. For the most part, they seem more "elitest". They talk about many brands that I have never heard of or can't afford. ( I'm retired). I feel more "at home " here.

came back to CS after a year off from smoking/buying only to find that everyone was gone. I think I actually posted a thread to the effect of "where did everybody go?" -got quite a few PMs directing me here.
