Wow, the Tigers are getting a some Yankee and Anti-Yankee love.

I think the TBS guys said that the Tigers are the first team to beat the Yankees in two playoff appearences in a row since the 1920s. Granted the last time was 2006, but since that was the Tigers' last trip, it is "consecutive".

They say to be the best you have to beat the best. While some may debate who was the best this season, the Yankees have been very good for many years. I'm glad we got past them and get to move on. It was a good series. Bring on the Rangers.

I thank the Tigers for beating the Yankees. Would have been mundane having the Rangers beat them again. Congrats for making it to October. They had a great run.

In all seriousness, the Rangers pitching needs to step it up a bit. The Tigers have some great hitters, and if Wilson pitches the way he did against the Rays, there's two games lost. It will be a great series. Could go either way.
