One of the best European ads I've seen (aside from this which has skyrocketed to the top of my two ad list) was a German ad I saw back in 1994...
Went sorta like this.... Night...couple making out in an old VW bug....windows fogging up, super-steamy....close-ups of the couple making out....pans out to exterior shot.... SWATCH.....it's waterproof. I saw no SWATCH in the entire commercial. And I haven't forgotten how much better the Europeans are with their commercials... Because, of course, they show b00bs.....just not in the SWATCH commercial. |
