Sheboygan River fishing (Wisconsin)

I will be attending my regional meeting next week. I would like to get out on the Sheboygan River at least once for some smallmouth fishing. Does anyone have any information on access points for wading (or possibly boat/canoe rental)?

I don't know personally, but I've sent an inquiry to a friend of mine who is an avid fisherman and lives not too far from there. He may have some info. Once I hear back I'll PM you his reply.
