Big interview coming up

I've been with the same company for the past 10 years, telecom industry. I've had several interviews over the years, and managed to land the jobs I was applying for except for one.
This morning I have another interview. Same job function pretty much just a promotion to the next level. I usually don't get too nervous about these interviews, I've known the people conducting them for most of my time with the company. But this time around the difference will be a much higher salary (more stick money right?!) and that aspect of it has me a little nervous.

Thanks for listening, this is just a way for me to cope with the nerves. /rant

I'm sure you'll do great Jeff! Out of curiosity, what do you do? I am a Sr. Telecom Engineer mostly working on Avaya equipment.

Thanks! Technical Support Engineer - DACS equipment, we have several vendors.

They will give their feedback after the selection is made. It'll be a couple of weeks.........mid October they said.

I did ask them if it would have helped to bring a six pack with me....they said yes. I've known the 3 managers I interviewed with today for almost as long as I've been with the company.

I always think afterwards that I didn't do well. But I thought that when I got the position I'm currently in. What do they say? We're our own harshest critic. I'm going to enjoy a drink and a stick later and just forget about it until next week. It's my weekend!!

These are people that you are reasonably familiar with, so it's hopefully going to be easier than if you were interviewing with a brand new company. God knows I've been through more interviews than I care to remember in the past decade, and some of them still give me nightmares.
