Attn. Terp Fans - Gary Williams Retires
After 33 years in coaching, with the last 22 at his alma mater, and with one national championship brought to College Park, Gary Williams has made the surprise announcement that he is retiring from the head men's basketball coach position at Maryland. He will stay with the athletic department in a different capacity.
The ACC will not be the same without him on the sidelines. If nothing else, it will be a lot more quiet.
