I Need My Space
|
As I continue smoking, I find that my taste preferences have been moving away from Dominicans and towards Nicaraguan cigars. It's probably a personal preference thing, but I'm curious as to which way you guys lean.

There are examples of both that I enjoy very much.
Nic - Padrons, Avalon Red Label Jukes, Pepins Dom - LFDs, Kelner blends. |

I might get burned for this, but even if I had to choose between Nicaraguan cigars and Cubans, I would go for the Nicaraguans. Don't get me wrong, I still smoke (and enjoy) Cubans, Dominicans, Costa Ricans and Honduran cigars too but Nicaragua is my favorite cigar country.

I have a few favorites from the Dominican (Partagas, La Aurora, La Flor, Fuente) but it's definitely a landslide victory for Nicaragua without a doubt.

I'd say probably about 95% of the NCs I smoke are Nicaraguan. I actually had a Dominican yesterday(LGC Reserve Fig) and enjoyed it quite a bit, just not as much as I enjoy a good Nicaraguan.

I wasn't exactly sure, so I decided to do a check. Went to CI and looked over my favorites. Apparently, I'm a Nic guy.

Smoke me if you can...

I prefer a Nicaraguan smoke over a Dominican, however, ever so often I look for a old favorite, but less frequent in recent times.
