How do you recommend grinding or sanding down the casting marks on concrete as pictured below? I eventually want to paint concrete white, but want it to look better than that.
Ideas, tips? ![]()

I'd wash the wall, fill imperfections if any I don't want with patching mud, sand, then skim coat with stucco. Probably an acrylic stucco.
I've sanded concrete before, never again, heh.

grinder method works very well...be sure to wear a breathing apparatus and eye protection.

This. That stuff is nasty if inhaled. My advice would be to wet sand it to keep down the dust.
