Love the outer banks. Have not had a chance to get there this summer yet. I Hope to get out there in Sept.

I've lived in NC for 25 years and have never been. I'm ashamed.
I do hit Myrtle Beach every year at least once, though. completely different experience than the Outer Banks.

We also go to Myrtle Beach once a year . Easier to get to than the Outer Banks and more to do and see .

Been to the Banks a time or three back inna day. One hell of a place to try to roll a joint, lemme tell ya.

Last time I was there was about 1984. Pretty wide open at that time. Use to drive our trucks right down on the beaches - surf fishing, drinking, etc.

Don't know why I haven't been back.
