My laptop screen was cracked so I ordered a new one thinking it was the correct screen but the model numbers don't match. I need to know if the new screen is compatible.
Laptop is: ASUS K50IJ Broken screen: LP156WH2 (TL) (A1) Screen I ordered: LP156WH4 (TL) (N2) Is the new screen compatible with my laptop? I want to make sure before I install it so I don't break anything. Thanks for the help. |

William, looks like it should work, just no clue if it fits in the housing. Asus specs on the display aren't terribly descriptive.
Good luck.

This link might help if you select the correct model and it should pop up and tell you the screens that work:

It worked! Thanks for the info guys. I just wanted to make sure that when I plugged it in it wouldn't fry something.

sounds like just minor difference as long as that pesky cable plugs in and the frame is the same size all should be fine
