As a life long Orioles fan, I was very sad to hear this:
http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/68...agan-1951-2011 http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/68...dical-examiner Spent many a night listening to him pitch on the radio on WBAL out of Baltimore. Weird thing wasas a kid I could always get WBAL at night way up here in NY, but never during the day. Anyway, was quite the player in his day, his record doesn't do him justice. Sorry to see things end this way. I know besides his friends and family a lot of Orioles fans will miss the guy. A real link back to the glory days of the team. |

Tragic story.
One of our sports guys used to fish with him. Here's his blog post today: http://www.yorkregion.com/blog/post/...dcaster-angler

Always sad when someone takes a permanant solution to a temporary problem. I feel for his family.
