Adjusting to the Life

I always stayed away from volunteering because I figured helping mom out was my good deed for my lifetime. When I was sent off on leave from Walgreens I started to really get extremely bored.I was invited to join the Masons when I was in University and I did in fact join, but first my schooling, then my job dragged me away from finishing my degrees. I started working on my degrees with a coach for the last four months or so and I finished my third degree and became a master mason the day after I was sent off on leave.
I have been volunteering for the last few months where ever I can. Today I helped schoolkids get photographed and fingerprinted at a multicultural event/fundraiser at Bing Wong Elementary. All day today. It weren't as bad as I thought. Some of the acts they had there were professional. Troupe of Spanish dancers: ![]() And an African singing group: ![]() |

I've done a few of those events, too. They're a lot of fun.

Congrats on being raised to a Master Mason. Volunteering is what makes it more interesting for me. Next big event is the Indiana Masonic Home Golf outing. Lots of fun and a day off work too.
