I was thumbing through the CI magazine last night and I came to the machine made page. I started looking at the prices out of curiosity. Most were what you'd expect...100 for like $35 or something...but then...

Garcia y Vega - 25 for $23. What???!!! In the same magazine they have 20 cigar samplers for like $40 that include all premiums.

It's been a LONG time since I've bought a gas station cigar...I remember getting Garcia y Vega's from K-mart when I was in highschool...but almost a buck a piece???!!!

That seems waaaay overpriced to me, considering most of them end up hollowed out with no tobacco in them. Just sayin.

I am surprised to see them pop-up on cbid every now and then. There is no accounting for taste though. If you sort smokes by rating on Famous Garcia Y Vega Crystal #200 5/3 get a 96

Those are prices you WOULD pay if you grabbed some from a Gas station (Taxes and all). Looks like there aint much of a deal for those anymore!

What the heck is all the fuss about? No one is saying you have to buy them at that price. And, as we have seen in a number of recent threads there are a bunch of people out there that will pay $46 for a stick for fiver and a buck a stick for these.
