I just purchased my first box. It is a box of Padron Londres Maduro. Perfect for a 40 minute dog walk. They look delicious. I have 7 other boxes in the mail even one from Switzerland if you know what I mean. I am hoping to build an inventory by purchasing more than I am smoking so I will eventually smoke only cigars that have at least a year of rest on them.
The Padron box contained a little slip of paper that had the name of the roller (Aracely) and a series of numbers stamped on it. 21 AGO 2009 Does this mean they were rolled last August? If so... Is it normal to get them 6 months after they were rolled or did I get lucky and get a box already aged 6 months? ![]() |

I don't know about Box Codes, but you sure picked a fine cigar for your first box!

Virtually. That is the date they were boxed. Congrats on your first box. A tasty smoke for sure.

Sweet. I am looking forward to smoking one each month to see how they age.
