A lot of younger inmates may not remember him, but he was Adam Cartwright on the long-running cowboy drama, Bonanza...

To another generation, he was Trapper John in the loosely-based MASH spin-off, Trapper John, M.D.

RIP, Pernell Roberts.

Still watch Bonanza reruns and liked him as Trapper John too. RIP

Both great classic shows... Bonanza was an institution in my house growing up.

I liked the early Bonanazas with Adam the best. I actually have a book listing all the episodes- I have seen them all except two or three!

Never did understand what the problem was and why he left Bonanza. Yes, watched (still watch) Bonanza.
