Alright,
So with all the sales and whatnot going on right now, I thought I might pick up another box of Pepin smokes. Now, I like my smokes REALLY rich, spicy, and strong. I currently have a box of Habana Leon Toros that I'm loving. I've had the blues which left me as sort of ...meh. I do like the 601 reds and greens though. What are some of the other ass-kicking Pepin smokes (that are somewhat affordable)? Thanks

I second the Cubao for a good Pepin stick
I also like CI's yellow label, good Pepin smoke and affordable Alos the Carojo Label from Cigar.com also affordable and I like them for an everyday smoke at the price. If you haven't tried the new La Aroma De Cuba blend by Pepin pick that one up and give it a try aswell. ![]() |

Another vote for Cubao Lancero or Blue Fundadores. Giralda is a good choice as well.

I'm pulling for either the 601 Red robusto or the DPG Invictos myself Rich

I might try the San Cristobals if you like rich and peppery.
Otherwise the DPG Black Labels are rather full. You might try the My Fathers as well. To me, the blue lanceros (fundadores) are more mild to medium (great cigars by the way). |

601 reds are my personal favorite of the cigars mentioned. I used to buy and smoke them regularly when I was primarily a CC smoker. I really wanted to like the DPG lanceros, and I've smoked several now, but I found them all to be very spicy and harsh without much flavor at all.
