Default BOTL let me down

Yesterday I wore a frown
Because my BOTL let me down
We were to meet for a smoke at 2
but it was 3 before he'd shoe
I was very sad and cried a tear
and all day I wore a frown
Because my BOTL was not around
Yesterday my BOTL let me down...

Not meeting on time for a smoke at the local tobacconist is one way a BOTL can let you down. What are some others?

Smoking White Owls after we convinced him to stop ..... I mean the guy had been smoking 'em for years. The problem kept getting worse and his taste buds were pretty much dead. For God's sake his daughter actually saw him eating cardboard with ketchup and saying how great the lasagna tasted!!! No taste buds left.

After we had an intervention and everyone cried and hugged he made promises to stop smoking the taste-bud-killing contraptions and we helped him keep those promises for a while. But three months later I caught him in the basement lighting up a Peach. It broke my heart.

He really let me down.
