Where to buy liquors

Where do people buy their liquors from? Cognac's/whiskeys are a big asian thing, so I've found that the local chinese supermarkets always have a huge selection. I'm not sure if their pricing is the best though. Where do the rest of you buy your liquors from?

The Winehouse in West L.A. or HiTime in Costa Mesa. Both have great selections.

In my experience with liquor stores here in Washington State, the selection is fairly narrow depending on where you go & what you're looking for. I'd love to order from someone like BevMo but they won't ship the Irish Whiskies I wanted to WA. Any online sources for Washingtonians?

I'm not sure about Washington, but here in Virginia they have a list online of liquors that you can special order at your store.....maybe check that out.
