It's a bunch of the "snake" fireworks type items, with some sort of accelerator added to make them all start expanding around the same time. The flame off the lighter fluid (probably) is visible now and then. Most of the "snake" items I have lit generally expanded with a black color, but the tabs were black beforehand, so it's probable that the color of the "tabs" influences the final color of the "snakes".
