I would say city+ as well. I don't like to roast this light because I hate to see so much chaff on the bean. This is something I am trying to overlook so I can make a roast that is best for the bean. I have roasted mostly to vienna or just under. It is hard to judge with my machine beacuse you can't hear the cracks. I think my picture kind of sucks. The exposure is too light. The beans are darker brown than that. Almost the same dark brown used in the CA theme here. Maybe not quite, but close. Some of the beans have some mild cracking at the edges, but I don't see any oil really and most are more uniform in color rather than splotchy.
The chaff is kind of annoying for me too, but according to SM, it doesnt have any taste. There is one benefit and that is that my plastic bin on my grinder seems to attract most of it instead of coffee, so that's good I guess.
