Just for information purpose, I have found the followoing. Consistent with the claims made in the message, I found that GBD and Comoy's came under one roof in the early 1960's. They were made at the Homerton factory ran by Jacques Cole. So I guess one could argue that this was a "merger" of the two lines.

I updated my listing to reflect this fact.
