Hey fellas,

I recently received an Edgestar 28-bottle wine cooler and am in the process of converting it to a humidor thanks to Chas! After a few days of it being plugged in, it has stabilized at 60/61 degrees. I have cranked on the knob towards the warmest level but that's it. I have 5 empty cigar boxes and beads in there.

I bought a timer at someone's recommendation but the RH level drastically drops when the cooler turns on so I have it constantly running to see what happens. I can set it to come on for 15 minutes but that is almost too long.

So is that temperature fine for long time storage and for smoking cigars now? I have read that is slows the aging but should be fine, but just wanted to see what opinions are out there...
