Default Re: Cigars in Cinema

The African Queen (1951) with Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn. In Bogie's opening scene, Charlie Allnut is putting upriver into the missionary village, leaning back and smoking a stogie. He strolls into the village and, standing outside the chapel, tosses the cigar behind him into the dust. A few dozen natives then dive into a mad scrum, trying to claim the butt for themselves.

God, what a good old movie.
