Did you shout, Bingo! When I worked at Intel we did that all the time to point out the uselessness of endless meetings. I never had less than 20 hours per week of meetings and several times went over 40 hours of meetings per week. Of course, since I was salaried, it was expected that I'd still get my real work done.
Before you complain that I could have skipped, it's hard to skip meetings that your vice president instructs your to attend and write a report on.
