I'm not willing to let go of my plan for a contract. The plan I have is nearly 10 years old and Verizon certainly doesn't offer anything that good anymore, and won't let me enter a contract with my plan (they've actually been trying to push me off my plan for several years, but I've managed to hold on to it).
Right now I get 1400 anytime minutes, unlimited free texts, and free night/weekend hours are 5pm to 5am, weekends starting 5pm Friday and lasting until 5am Monday. All for $60 a month paid month to month. The overage fees are killer, and so are data fees, but the amount of minutes/texts for to price is utterly unbeatable, and I use every bit of that plan.
So contracts are out of the question, I do far better simply buying the phone outright in that case.
Appreciate the reply though
